Data collected by this site is used to fulfill customer orders. When you use this website, we collect the following information.
- Account Information which may include your name, address, email address and phone number which we use to send orders to you or to contact you.
- Payment information if you wish to phone through and order and arrange alternate payment. Your information will be used to process your payment but will not be stored by us.
- Communications with us such as emails and other communications such as inquiries will be stored so that we can assist you with your inquiry.
- Files you send to us will be stored such as customer appreciation photos and any documentation you provide giving us permission to publish such images for marketing such as future workshops. Sharing your information
- Third Parties: We use Mail Chimp, a third party newsletter service, to help us communicate with you. Mail Chimp requires your email address in order to send you our newsletters. Mail Chimp’s use of your email details are governed by their terms and Privacy policies which can be found on their website: www.mailchimp.com. If you with to unsubscribe from our newsletters through this third party you can do so at the bottom of newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link or contact us for assistance via hello@craftypossums.com.au
- Our Web Host, Squarespace, transmits ecommerce transactions on our behalf. Payment information is transmitted using HTTPS encryption, and we maintain a PCI DSS certification. See Squarespace’s Privacy Policy here: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy
- Legal requirements may mean that we have to disclose your information to third parties if we deem it necessary to comply with the law, protect our rights or prevent fraud or abuse. When legally permitted, we will provide users with notice that their information is being requested first.
- If our business is sold, your information may be transferred to the new owners.
Payment Security
All credit/debit card payments from our website are made through the secure Paypal gateway as required by our website host Squarespace. As the payment is handled by Paypal, we do not handle or store these details on our own servers at any point.
